"Double-tap to select word" sometimes doesn't work.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Infuriatingly, I am unable to reproduce the problem, but it will keep 
happening. Sometimes it's after a save/restore/undo. Sometimes it's after I 
close/open the keyboard. Sometimes it's when I'm tapping the screen, trying to 
get at a word and instead I open/close the keyboard accidently (another reason 
for the "locking the keyboard" suggestion). But I haven't been able to actively 
reproduce it - apart than simply playing any single game for any length of time.

What is the expected output or behavior?  What do you see instead?
Sometimes doule-tapping a word to select it won't work. It just won't. It won't 
work for the words I want, nor the surrounding ones. Sometimes it might work on 
some more recent words, and sometimes I just have to type.

What version of Frotz are you using?
1.6

What device model are you using (e.g., iPhone 4S, iPhone 3GS, iPad 4, iPod
Touch 4th gen.)

Further testing leads me to believe the problem is my big finger and the 
small-ish font. If you can close or delete this issue, feel free to.

This is an incredibly useful feature on a touchscreen device!
There is one case where it never works:
- If I scroll up too far. In this case it seems the "tap to page-down" feature 
takes precedence. I can always reproduce this.
I find two cases where it sometimes doesn't work:
- When I scroll up not much more than one "page". I can sometimes reproduce 
this, but it usually works if I don't scroll too far.
- Sometimes it just doesn't work, not even on nearby text. This happens only 
very rarely and may be a result of all the other scrolling/dbl-tapping I'm 
doing. It seems to reset after any command.
