Allow multi keyword search #26

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
It would be great if one could use multiple keywords for the search. The
keywords could be separated by whitespace.

Ideally, there should be a button to quickly switch between "AND" and "OR"
linking of the keywords, with "AND" being the default.

Oh boy, yah would be nice to have, but I cringe just at the thought of the
interface
it would require.

Go for the simple approach first - allow multiple keywords, separated by blanks
and
apply all of them to the search.

I think that's already fixed in 1.22.

Nope, don't think so. If it was, it's not working for me.

Sorry, I meant the simple approach (not the complex one) is already fixed in
1.22. If
i type "g iphone quickgold" Google opens with the "iphone quickgold" query.

Ah... sorry for the confusion.

I was referring to the search that QuickGold does. I'd like to be able to e.g.
type
2 characters from the firstname and 2 characters of the lastname. QGs results
should
be filtered accordingly.

I get this now. It should just behave like standard searches behave when using
multiple keywords. Bumping its priority to high.

Wonderful, thank you very much. And sorry for not making myself crystal clear
from
the begining :)
