Why FLIM 1.14.2? Old FLIM does not support recent Emacs and I think MELPA's target is recent Emacs.

I took that from the README, which says SEMI requires FLIM > 1.14.2, but I just changed it to require FLIM 1.14.9 since, as you say, ELPA requires Emacs > 24.3
