List actions continue to affect newly added persons

When I first sort the list by say prio, then I add a person called Zenith, which is expected to appear at the very end, instead, it got inserted into position number 2:

We designed the sort feature to work on the list even as new contacts are added, as we thought it was frustrating to have to resort the list by the same criteria every time a new contact is added. Adding the seller "Zenith" with a high priority will be pushed to the second index in this case as the list is still sorted, until the list is sorted by default order by inputting ssort.
