Inconsistent command behaviour for filter #16

Open wanghejin opened 11 months ago

I only saw the use of fuzzy matching in DG and realised that a prior doc bug I reported could have been because of the use of this matching algo. However, I remember when I tried filtering by john, jane does not come up as stated in UG. Hence, I'm quite confused what the exact behaviour of this should be...

Team's Response

Filtering has nothing to do with fuzzy matching as fuzzy matching relates only to warnings. The matching of similar names is also explained in Appendix C of the UG.

Filtering by "john" should indeed not make "jane" come up. Nowhere is this stated in the UG; in the example, filtering by "John Doe" causes "Jane Doe" to show up because of the matching word "Doe".

The issue reported also lacks direct relation to the documentation.
