Possibly redundant if #46 ever gets implemented, but for the time being, I think this is a "safe"/reasonable addiction to the hard-coded list of nondisplay tags.
That sounds okay, in that it shouldn't catch people out unawares. We can back it out later if it causes any issues or becomes redundant.
I've seen this being done in practice, to hide 'maintenance' tags for stuff like spam filtering or other metadata.
