I archived 500 mails with 0.5 then 78.000 duplicates mails began loading down. Then upgraded to 0.6. Now at first glance everything seems to be right. But now - whenever thunderbird looks for new mail, thunderbird freezes for about 2 minutes. Thunderbird information during that time is: 'checking inbox'. The strange thing is that sometimes this message now is displayed (with 2 minutes freeze time) for a different mail account too, that I never archived any mail for. regards Michael

When the freeze happens, is the addon active or not? You can tell from the alien eye at the status bar, if it's eye is open, then the addon is actively doing sth.

I think my problem came from the mass of duplicates now in thunderbird - the addon is meanwhile uninstalled. Over night thunderbird loaded down 70.000 duplicate mails and I didn't find a way to stop that. I manually archived part of them. So now - thunderbird is working again. Propably the addon version 0.6 is allright; the problem arouse from 0.5 But with 70.000 additional mails thunderbirds performance has become even slower and I still have to look for a different solution. As soon as the addon 0.6 is stable I may try that one again or install seamonkey for test.

kind regards Michael
