Cool idea that I could see being applied to many different kinds of produce that we purchase, not only soybeans. In your motivation I would describe the problem in more detail. Why is it actually an issue if some varieties are misclassified? Why is it important for you and the rest of the class to solve the problem? And what features are you actually looking at in summary? I know you address this later but it might help to have context or put Motivation afterwards. I was also confused what RM was.
I think your project is well organized, and you employed a lot of different techniques. You have a good midpoint where you understand the data for now, and then the next half of the project is actually performing regressions and feature engineering and everything.
