HTML tags in description field #3

Html tags are being displayed when using a CKEditor textarea field as value for the description field.

Hi @kevinvermeersch

I cannot reproduce this problem with the current version 0.5.0. HTML of placeholders should get stripped and encoded. What version of the module and ProcessWire are you using? Do you have any hooks in place that might influence the rendering of the metatag?

Thx, must be a conflict with another module. I'll have to investigate it. With a clean install everything works.

Small follow up on my error if someone has the same problem. CKEditor inputfields need "Markup/HTML" as Content Type to resolve this problem.
