Host locations are incorrectly marked on the map. #1015

Recently I have seen that host locations on the map move around, including my own. My location used to be shown correctly, but has recently been shown in other locations up to 18km away!

My address in my profile is well specified and so that other mapping services can correctly locate my address.

Can we improve the accuracy of the markers so that users are not mislead as to the location of hosts?

To reproduce this issue you can take a look at my profile: https://www.warmshowers.org/user/67118 and compare the location to address in google maps.

Just found the answer to this problem in the Warmshower forums:

"Yes, it's been a known problem for some time. It also got a mention in the April newsletter:

We have recently found a problem with a few members location on the map being shown incorrectly. Please check your location on the map. If it is not correct please go to the "profile edit" page and just hit save at the bottom. If this does not fix the problem please let us know via the "contact us" link."

It appears the issue has been fixed.
