warp features like text editing not working via Cloudflare Zero Trust #1987

Describe the bug

SSHing into a remote machine running stock Ubuntu LTS (so it should have a compatible shell) through Cloudflare zero trust gives me no fun Warp features like text editing -- I just get a normal shell prompt.

I'm not a huge shell ninja, so it's very possible this is user error, but after some discussions with a support engineer I was encouraged to submit a bug report.

To Reproduce

  1. SSH in via Cloudflare zero trust
  2. observe no text editing on the remote host

Expected behaviour

Text editing and other fun Warp feature son the remove host

Hi @j-ro Thanks for submitting, it may take us a while to reproduce this error as we don't have cloud flare zero trust, but we will post any updates here ( progress or if we need more info from you )
