Describe the bug

The blue background is not dark enough and yellow highlight is not present at all.

To reproduce

  1. install https://github.com/krolig/mc/releases/download/4.8.26/mc-4.8.26-x86_64-slang.dmg
  2. run mc in warp
  3. press "Ctrl+T" to select and highlight a file

Expected behavior

I expect Warp to not mess mc colors, see screenshots.

Does this block you from using Warp daily?

Yes, this issue prevents me from using Warp daily.

Is this a Warp specific issue? (i.e. does it happen in Terminal, iTerm, Kitty, etc.)

Yes, this I confirmed this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.

I have changed the default theme to xoria256 as a temporary fix.

Selecting files/directories (Shift+Up or Shift+Down) in mc should also highlight the selected rows. Somehow this is disabled with Warp, regardless of local shell or on a remote through ssh.

@durach where can i find xoria256 theme?

durach commented 5 months ago

@p3x-robot run mc, F9 -> Options -> Appearance -> Choose skin for mc. Then again F9 -> Options -> Save setup However, I ended up with a competitor's product :(

i downloaded the wrap themes, which has like 100 themes, this is that works with midnight commander: Xterm -Terminal App Tango Dark Matrix Dracula Switcheroo Matrix Dracula Low Contrast Konsole Linux Hyper High Contrast Green Geeko Falcon -Cyberpunk-neon Cobalt 2 Campbell Base16 Windows Nt Light Base16 Windows Nt Base16 Windows Highcontrast Base16 Tango

The selected '-' is which is the best for me.

i created: ~/.local/share/warp-terminal/ then git clone https://github.com/warpdotdev/themes.gif

than restart wrap and than it will work.

denisafanasev commented 5 months ago
