Does this block you from using Warp daily?

No

Is this a Warp specific issue? (i.e. does it happen in Terminal, iTerm, Kitty, etc.)

Yes, this I confirmed this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.

Hi @x-tropy that looks like a session restoration block. Do you notice those small blocks even before quitting Warp? It's hard to tell from the screenshot, but is your Warp window small? Can you please provide a screen capture video of the issue?

Thanks for further questions. I have clear answers for what you're asking.

  1. Yes, it is a session restoration block.
  2. The shrink happens in the "session restoration" case and some other cases (normally related to open/close pane or window)
  3. My Warp window is at normal size, and the window size isn't related to this issue in any way (I think).

The shrinked block cause some usability issues, for example I can't use ⌘ + L to locate to it.
