Describe the solution you'd like?

This FR issue is a follow-up of https://github.com/warpdotdev/Warp/issues/3109, as the OP closed the issue.

I appreciate highlighting the block frame, but please allow for disabling the block background highlighting!

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Having the block background highlighted is very distracting and makes reading previous output unnecessarily tricky.

Additional context

Highlighting a block frame is a good enough visual clue for situational awareness; highlighting the background adds unnecessary visual noise.

How important is this feature to you?

This new block highlighting feature just appeared on my recent update in macos. Very annoying. When I click on my terminal, I don't need it to highlight anything and now I have to click twice to get rid of it. Is there a way to remove this manually?

Sorry about this folks, no updates on disabling the block highlight as this time. Unfortuntely, the only workaround at this time is to run your shell in a subshell, this will essentially disable Warp's features like blocks and completions within the session.
