Mac keyboard dictation does not work #884

Describe the bug

Mac OS supports dictation which allows to convert speech into text wherever typing is available. However, dictation does not seem to be working properly in Warp.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable dictation : System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Dictation: on
  2. Go to Warp and attempt to activate dictation (double pressing ctrl, by default).
  3. Speak-to-type dialog is showing up, and voice seems to be recognized, but no text is typed.

Expected behaviour

Text should be typed after stop speaking.

Are there any updates on this? Dictation would make a pretty neat combo AI command search.

There aren't any updates regarding dictation support. Will circle back with an update next quarter.
