Would you consider relaxing the requirement for having a .tomostar extension for timi names listed in the rlnMicographName field for coordinates identified using external particle picking tools?

I've thought about this too, the reason I didn't push is that I wasn't sure of all the places it would break, I think it's

particle export
M species setup

Could make it work but it becomes quite a lot of work for a small quality of life increase...

Note to self: if you do fix this only in particle export it risks breaking M import downstream which would be harder to debug as further from the source of the issue
