Fixes when search runs

Description

• Previously search was tied to globally pressing enter (which does not seem to work on some macbooks)
• Now it is tied to pressing enter on the input itself, or tabbing off the input, or when the user stops typing for a while

I finally got around to pulling up to date with the highlight changes 😅

@warrenday please give this a look when you have a chance, without it some macbooks can't use the search feature at all
