Fix a tiny bug #5

And a lot of cleanup & reformat & switch to using a connectionstring for the database

It's going to take a lot more to make something decent out of it. So much that it doesn't make sense to me to continue. I just made this PR so you can easily integrate it if you like it, but its still a long way before it will be in a 'good enough state'.
