I like the idea!

I don't like the idea.
It's there to block, not to play around - play solitaire or tetris, but leave
actual
unbroken working apps outside.

I like the idea as well, It's sometimes very interesting to see where the
blocks come from in real time as I surf the internet. Alternatively, maybe have
the last n blocks (whatever's defined in the preferences to be shown on the
peerblock screen) be optionally exported in realtime to a small text file so it
can be loaded in Samurize, Rainlendar or other app which would then handle the
updating.

i love this idea. if i could toggle the allow http on the fly from the desktop
without the app being open would be a tremendous feature

I like the idea for the same reason as s.auh. Peerblock blocks some websites
that I use and trust, and I don't need to use it all the time. A gadget to
turn enable/disable http and all peerblock(such as during online game use),
plus a small notification field of when it's blocking things would be very
useful. Even more if it was skinable for those of us who must customize and
theme everything.
