The option of random playing the songs in a playlist would be nice. I've got several playlists which I run as background music during party's, and playing them in the same order every time would quickly get boring.

I think you can change the sort order within kodi (left panel) when viewing a list...

That let's me view the list ascending or descending. There is no random option.

Actually, I now do remember that I did disable the sorting function for tracks : get_sort_methods() returns an empty array.

Why ? In this plugin, list labels for favorited items (tracks/artists) are colorized in yellow. But when sorting is enabled, they aren't anymore... So I temporary disabled this. I made a post on kodi forums about this, to try to find a fix, but no one has replied for now.

Closing this as the issue is very old and the plugin is quite different since this was logged.
