Currently you have to manually edit the settings.xml file to point this addon to your subsonic server. Should be able to leverage http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on_settings for this.

Hi, What is your config ? (OS, Kodi version) I got the settings GUI here when right clicking the addon icon > "settings". It should works for you too !

Haha my bad! you are correct. Maybe a first run prompt that lets a user know where they can update the settings
