Fixed compatibility with M11 issues. #23

It wasn't compiling. There are many warnings related to M11 but at least it compiles. Nightly builds have been failing for over a month (Maven repository has no fresh JARs). Maybe this was the problem.

Thanks. Just updated here locally too. Same changes as yours but added companion object.
