stfHndl handle evaluation failed #9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I'm trying to understand how the problem happens but seems to be random. I'm 
working with more than one character and i'm still not able to reproduce it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I get an error from the maya output window ans SM seems to not affect the 
geometry.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using the latest build compiled for maya 2013

Please provide any additional information below.
I get an error message: "stfHndl handle evaluation failed" and i don't know 
what is related to.
