Oof, sub millisecond sync with a regular Linux machine? Not saying it's impossible, but sure ain't easy.
Then again... It doesn't need to be real time. We can afford some slack...
I'm wondering if we can get away with synchronizing chunks of audio with timestamps and making sure our system times are synched well enough (TBD). This would also allow a lagging box to catch up.
When two or more Drempelboxes are present in the same network, all should play simultaneously from the same (cloud) source. The latest Drempel put on any box' sensor determines the stream for all boxes.
