I think we should have a rough idea which subsystems use what power in a few typical situations. This would help us to optimize at the right place if we need to.

Setup

raspi supplied by battery (optimistic 37 Wh capacity)
USB audio interface connected
no user processes except ssh running (other than OS)

Results

Battery lost 23 % charge after 9.5 h uptime
Roughly 180 mA average consumption
