App shows IP which I don't use, starting with "10." #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I'm connected to WiFi at home.
2. The IP of the phone starts with "192.". This IP is assigned to the phone, I
don't use DCHP
3. I share a file and select the app "share-via-http"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
4. The app shows an (unknown) IP starting with "10."
5. I can't reach this IP from my PC in the same Wifi-network (the odd thing is:
from the phone itself - this IP works)
6. After I selected the "right" IP from the menu, starting with "192.", I can
download the file from my PC in the same WiFi-network

Expectation: The app shows/selects the "right" IP from the beginning, starting
with "192.". I don't understand, where this "10."-IP comes from. Can you help
me with this?
It would be helpful, if the App could at least remember the right IP after I
selected it from the menu.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.11
HTC One S with Android 4.1.1

Please provide any additional information below.
- I can't even ping the "10."-IP.
- My router and android itself showed me the "192."-IP.

Thank you for your support and this great app :-)

Hi!

The 10.x.y.z IP address probably comes from your phone company.
The problem is, I can't know what IP one uses in their WiFi network.
I, for example, use 10.1.1.x because I am lazy and this is the simplest thing
to type :)

Anyway, to solve that, my app has a button called "choose the IP address",
which solves your problem.

I will tag this issue as invalid. If not, just reply here and we keep
discussing.

Hi Marcos,

thank you for your reply and especially for your most recent update -> it fixed
my issue somehow. Now, the default IP when I start your app is 192.x.y.z as I
use in my LAN.

Just a comment to your recommendation:

Yes, it solves it... but prior to the update, I had to change the IP every time
again. So it would help, if your app remembers the settings (perhaps it should
already do that but it hadn't, so that might be the "real" bug behind my issue?)

Best Regards
M.
