When you click on the share via email button, it opens an email and a blank tab #7

This is set in the Pressbooks Book parent theme - https://github.com/pressbooks/pressbooks-book/blob/e821e4af0491381fab766041e1d77a10bd6399e9/content-social-footer.php#L5

Likely because the alternative would be for the current tab to go blank while an external app opened.
