At the moment, people can set the coverImage or ogImage fields in their article's frontmatter but it won't actually show in the published article. Including one of those image links should automatically add it at the top of the article as a banner.
For example, @tesilopez included a link to the image in both the article's frontmatter (for previews in social media) and still needed to add an explicit image tag before her introduction.
