I was thinking about making the doc type selector sticky, but your idea seems
okay too. I'll implement this the way you describe for now and see how it
goes. It'll probably be in the next release which is due in a week or so
unless there are problems.

Sweet. That would be great. Sticky would be good too but this change would
eliminate my need for it mostly i think. Well done. I look forward to the
next version. Great app. Nice design. I had almost resigned myself to trying
to write my own which would give me back some of the great features in Pocket
Esword. But And-Bible does it splendidly. Would love to be able to contribute
something useful to it one day!

So many people came from Pocket e-Sword, myself too. Last year I decided to
write a bible app when Rick announced PE was no longer being supported or
developed. One key requirement for me was the ability to tweak the app because
there were one or two annoyances in PE.
There are now quite a few similar (but different) bible apps on Android -
YouVersion, Cadre, MySword are popular but there are many others. Only one
other that I know of (CrossConnect) is OSS, but most have a strong feature set
built in.

I was underwhelmed by the other ones i looked at - YouVersion, Cadre, Logos and
a few others. What i wanted was to be able to 'study' the bible. I find i
read a LOT more from the commentaries on my handheld device because i can do it
from my bed. So i want to find a verse then quickly read all the commentaries
on that verse. And-Bible does that real well - nice cycling through which i
think is better than Pocket eSword. Good call on that one.
I also want to be able to use TSK quickly and easily to study around a passage
while i am doing devotionals.
Anyhow, I was quite relieved to find And-Bible. Pocket eSword was my favourite
mobile app. I hope And-Bible will exceed it :)

Oh, a related feature that will be a bit harder to implement.
When you open the commentary list via the left-top button, it shows ALL
commentaries. Your 'cycle through ONLY commentaries that have something about
the selected verse' is a great idea. It would be nice if that could be carried
into this change.
That is, when the commentary list is displayed, only the commentaries with data
on the selected verse are displayed :)
