@shawn-hurley Feel free to review this in full now, it attempts to test the following:

Build the operator image based on any changes
Modify the example operator message string to ensure when we build it we get our locally built version
Build the example operator based on the operator image built
Update operator deployment with the local image
Deploy new custom resource
Check the output of custom resource that it includes our test string

I think if we wanted we could add two stages that also test on minishift.
