Now that the migrations have finished, let's remove Tessa assets out of s3 that we don't need anymore because they've been uploaded to ActiveStorage.

Tessa was storing media in these buckets:

app-assets.watermark.org has three main sub-folders: events/, jtj-cms/, and survey.

I think we can just delete survey. This is data from people's old 4B responses.

Most of the jtj-cms/ files were copied over, the only remaining thing is a few old Author photos and lock screens. Nothing should be directly referencing those s3 URLs, both of those kinds of files get served via the JTJ CMS API which uses the new bucket.

Same with the events/ files, everything that was not copied over is an image that likely belongs to a deleted event. There's also a psd file in there for some reason.

I'm OK with deleting all of these things. Confirming with scott miller on the survey data.

Regarding app-assets.watermarkresources.com, there are 79 GB of data that was not copied over to the new assets bucket. The majority of that are video and audio testimony files. We will need to compare and see if these files exist in the Media system as well before deleting them.

I can provide a list of 97 items totaling 25 megabytes that are safe to delete from this bucket for sure, because we have copied them over to the new assets system. This is entirely composed of church logos.

There's actually a ton of "Resource" entries in the WMR contentful space that point to these files. So, we cannot delete them!

But good to know that this is happening! We might consider a migration to get all these files into Vimeo or Contentful so it's easier for the WMR team to know where all their content is.

Above is an excel spreadsheet with multiple tabs containing a list of all the files in various buckets, also the audit of Resource entries in Contentful.
