In the log, there are several pairs of the below error message

[11/01/17 20:03:46.482][ERRO][WebClientT] Failed send, URL: https://169.54.186.28/milsng/user/SVSProxy/session [11/01/17 20:03:46.482][ERRO][Request] Request failed to connect.

Look like because it could not send data, the Conversation service does not return any string

Thank you for the report.

The error is not relating to Watson Conversation Service, but to an experimental face recognition service named IVA. So you can ignore the error.

You'll see the following message just after the log you shown above.

[11/06/17 14:46:16.288][STAT][IVA] OnLoginSession: 
[11/06/17 14:46:16.288][ERRO][IVA] Failed to login to service, will retry in 30.000000 seconds.
