Why not allow single .shp file translations on http://ogre.adc4gis.com and http://ogre.adc4gis.com/convert?

at one time i played with that and i'm not sure why the reason ATM, you won't have attribute data or projection information... are you able to transform using straight ogr2ogr on the command line?

I understand your question to be that you'd like to convert a single '.shp' file (that does not include the 'shx' and 'dbf' files). That doesn't constitute a valid shapefile, you need at least those three. If you have them, just zip them up and send them through Ogre.
