@wvstring In 264dea6750bdc41aee2d416d4ef4987e752565ba I have added SMARTIES and cylinder2mod/smarties_plot_ext.py cylinder2mod/smarties_script_tutorial.ini to reproduce and plot results for spheroid from SMARTIES (blue) and cylinder2mod (red)
note that spheroid options in ini (a and c) are in changed notation as used in matlab script (c and a), the relation between theta and phi vs sIncType can also be seen on screenshots. I didn`t get it correct, as soon as SMARTIES uses wavelength in nanometers, and cylinder2mod in some normalized units, however, the correspondence between the results is clearly seen. (I know what is size parameters for a sphere, however, for a spheroid it uses size parameter of volume equivalent sphere which is not directly obvious for me).
I have update the scripts, however, there is still some shift in freq, and some difference in amplitude.
The LeRu patch has not been yet released to pass through tt-routine! It was still confined only within tmatr*_leru routines. I've just allowed it to pass through tt-routine locally. Only now you would be able to see the effect of the patch and try a comparison with smarties. Have to do a bit of merge yet.

FYI: with the value of integer k on l. 3793 - see
k=2 if (k==1) then
you can switch between releasing the LeRu patch (k=1) and the original Mishchenko flow (k=2) flow and be able to compare the respective outputs On Sunday, February 23, 2020, 03:10:25 AM EST, Alexander Moroz wavescattering@yahoo.com wrote:
