[Feature Request] Option to Dock Side Panel to Different Screen Edges #1437

I'm using a vertical screen setup and find that the current side panel takes up too much horizontal space, which isn't ideal for my workflow, particularly when I'm using Brainbox for chatting. While I appreciate that I can open the side panel in a new tab, it would be great if we had the option to dock the panel to the bottom, top, or right side of the screen.

Similar to how developer tools in web browsers offer docking options, it would be incredibly useful to have the flexibility to place the side panel where it best suits our individual needs.

This feature would allow for a more customizable workspace and could enhance productivity, especially for those of us with unique screen orientations.

I can see how this would be useful on a tall monitor, however, the side panel is a chromium spec (https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/sidePanel/) which means any extension from the web store can use it. I suspect we may encounter some issues if we start positioning the panel across the bottom of the screen as other extensions haven't considered this kind of aspect ratio or optimized for it.

It's similar to the built-in Wavebox side panel views as they're primarily targeted around being tall and narrow. Although you can pop Brainbox out into its own window if you use it in a widescreen aspect ratio the layout is really sub-optimal. I think out of all the views that come built-in, Smart Notes is really the only one that supports a broader variety of views
