I cannot use 'Open as a tab in matched app' rule for the external links #1459

Bug/Feature description

Same as title.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Try to open an external link.
  2. In "Where would you like to open this link?" dialog, choose "Open in an app tab".
  3. Check "Always do this for \<domain>".
  4. Click an app.
  5. Open the link opening rules window.
  6. Change the newly added rule to "Open as a tab in matched app".
  7. Retry to open an external link.

What I expect: a tab will be open in matched app What actually happens: "Where would you like to open this link?" dialog is open.

I'm struggling to reproduce the same here - with the same setup links seems to open correctly. Did the link matching work before changing the settings to open as a tab?

I've noticed that changing the rule to https://(www.)notion.so/(*) worked for me. I don't know why but closing this.
