Sort should populate on save #66

An empty sort field is being populated from "main" by the API on save but not being reflected in the admin when the save button is clicked on an item. This problem suggests the need for a refactor in the way we're handling state there.

Oops meant to put this on admin. Now at wavefarm/admin#101.
