Windows app requires WIFI even if Cast & PC are on same network #31

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install & Verify Chromecast
2. Download Chromecast app for Windows
3. Chromecast app says "WIFI Isn't on"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It would be expected that a wired desktop can Cast to a wireless Chromecast.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Windows 7 64 bit, and also Windows 7 32 bit in Vmware Fusion on Mac

Please provide any additional information below.

WiFi is not required to cast from a PC to Chromecast.

Once the device is setup, you just have to be on the same LAN (wired or 
wireless).

However, initial setup requires you connect to it directly using WiFi Direct.  
So either your Android phone or (soon) iPhone will work.  Or a PC that has a 
WiFi card must be used.
