keeps stating error on laptop

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.download
2.Load/cast
3.error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect it to actually cast to the t.v

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I have a Hp Dv7-6187cl and whenever I try to cast a video over to my Chromecast 
it would say error try again or change the connection. I then try the same 
connection on a different laptop or smart phone on the same Television and it 
works like how it suppose to so how do you suppose I fix this
