Second that. Would love to use this at work to mirror my display onto the
projector. Need support for PEAP.

I also would love if this could happen. The device is useless at universities

If this is not an SDK bug, where should it be reported? If it has been taken
into consideration by the Chromecast team, is there a way to track progress?

I've got 802.1x set up at home and can test if needed. Using PEAP and
MS-CHAP-V2 with Windows Server 2008 r2 as the RADIUS server.
This would be great! I can't use my Chromecast without it because my laptop and
phone and tablet only connect to the "Secure" network.

Not having 802.1x is preventing my university from seriously considering
Chromecast for meeting rooms and classrooms.

to test beta code releases if needed and provide feedback.

Yes. I bought a Chromecast dongle for use in my dorm, but it's useless because
Google isn't allowing support of 802.1X secured networks. This needs to be
added or my device is a $35 paper weight.

a workaround i found for this issue is to connect an ethernet cable to your
computer and download "Virtual Router Plus" on your computer which is free and
then you can create your own wifi network and connect your chromecast to that
network. But still we shouldnt have to do this, i really hope chromecast gets
802.1x soon.
