Since this is marked NotSDK and is not displayed on the main issues page, I
wonder if anyone is even looking into it... Any insight "l...@google.com"?

I would love to get this issue fixed, but one workaround is to cast the 'chrome
tab' rather than from youtube player. Basically you would be 'casting' from
chrome cast extension rather than youtube player.

Same issue, I hope someone is looking into it, seems like a pretty basic
function to just ignore it.

While buying Chromecast, I never thought Google will ever have such a basic
issue going on for long !
Reluctantly, I am proved wrong :(

I have the same issue.
Win 7, Google Chrome browser, youtube.com.
I was able to get it to work as expect using a workaround i figured out myself.
Goto the youtube playlist on your pc. Tell it to cast to your TV. Let it fail
on the first song. Tell it to cast to your PC, then tell it to cast back to
your TV.
So basically: Cast to TV... Cast to PC... cast back to TV. Then it works. It
played through every video in the playlist as expected. Your mileage may vary.

I'm not sure if there was a formal announcement by Google regarding this issue,
but I've discovered that playlists now play through my Chromecast. Are others
also seeing this function working as expected now?

Same issue, but under different circumstances. Win7, Google Chrome, Youtube.com
I have 2 linked Google/Youtube accounts and 2 separate 'Watch later' playlists.
(I have a lot of subscriptions) I had this exact issue on my primary Youtube
account 'Watch later' playlist, but not for my secondary Youtube 'Watch later'
playlist.
A few days ago this problem reversed itself for some reason, now my secondary
Youtube 'Watch later' playlist doesn't work on the Chromecast, but my primary
Youtube 'Watch later' playlist now works.
The Autoplay button on the Youtube browser page never worked, it can cycle 2
videos but it always get stuck on the 3rd video in the playlist.

This is not a SDK issue; if you need to report this, you need to report that to
YouTube; this tracker is for SDK issues, please stop posting to this issue,
this will not be monitored.
