Connection to Netflix unstable since build 13300 #85

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Cast Netflix.
2. Leave app, allow phone to sleep.
3. Wake phone, Netflix connection to Chromecast control is gone. App says that
Chromecast is still selected.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ought to be able to reenter app and acquire Chromecast control. It's
inconsistent.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Chromecast 13300, latest Netflix, Android 4.0.4.

Please provide any additional information below.

Please don't dismiss this as a Netflix problem.

The same exact thing is happening with YouTube.

Please see XDA thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2443288

This is not isolated to one app, user or configuration.

This started with the 13300 update.

I've experienced the same problem. Sometimes comes back online and other times
have to restart app/phone/tablet.

I've have the same problem using an Iphone 4 with IOS 7 and Netflix 5.1 I can't
check my Chromecast version now, but I bought it last week so it should be the
latest.
When I try to reconnect to my Chromecast from Netflix, it says the device is
not connected to the same network. The stream is however still playing on the
Cromecast. If I then start Youtube and stream it to Chromecast, this new stream
takes over and works fine. After this, I can restart Netflix and stream to
Chromecast again.

I'm have if exact same problem, phone or tablet goes to sleep then on wake it
has lost control of the chrome cast, I'm finding this isolated to netflix.

iPhone 4S - ios7
iPad 2 - ios7
Latest netflix app version 5.1.0
Chromecast 14651

Also noticed that the netflix app take a while to open?

Same problem.

iPhone 5 - iOS 7
iPad 2 - iOS 7
Nexus 7 (2013) - Android 4.4.2
Netflix app (Android) - v 3.1.0 build 1106
Netflix app (iOS) - v 5.1 (2045548)
Chromecast - build 14651

Per Google's instructions I've done a FDR on the Chromecast at least 5 times.
Also, have to reboot the Chromecast after streaming one video from Netflix.
