Products: We do not consider A-DEX Swap, Analytics, and SDK separate products. They all rely on A-DEX's usage, which is reflected in its metrics. Splitting them would simply result in Analytics and SDK being scored at 0, with Swap being scored at 0.5. Subsplitting of cohesive products is only applied if the score ceiling would prevent proper evaluation as individual products outgrow the heading product. Scoring is based on relevance to the ecosystem, factoring in innovation, demand, and usage. Usually, we grant slightly higher scores on the initial release to award previous development efforts and then re-evaluate based on usage metrics and maintenance. At this point, the usage and metrics of A-Dex do not justify a higher score. We recommend using the evaluation of Defibox and their metrics for the Defibox WAX Swap as a comparison to understand the rating.
Ecosystem:
- We do not see the need for an additional offering of Docker Images and do not want other guilds to follow suit. The OIG does not reward points for copies of existing and maintained contributions where decentralization does not add additional value.
- Points for Commercial API services were only granted if such a service was publicly offered. This means having a landing page, pricing model, SLAs, etc. A simple statement you offer commercial APIs on a docs page does not satisfy these criteria. Furthermore, points in this category were only granted if the offering had already attracted clients and the service was actively provided to projects that could be named. Given that we have deprecated the category altogether and will be removing the scores from all guilds as we advance, we would not have granted new points here either way.
- We stopped granting points for Telegram Groups a long time ago. Under rare circumstances, we grant points for the maintenance, administration, or support provided within social communication channels. An unmaintained and mostly inactive group where you yourself have not answered a single request in over two years does not fall into this category.
Backups: You reported providing State History. This has not been the case at the time of evaluation.
Infrastructure Evaluation: While the metrics provided for both Light-API and IPFS are not what we would expect from propagated and used endpoints, the points should have been granted and have now been added.
General Note: What we are looking for in guilds is to add value and extend the WAX ecosystem. We are not looking to oversupply unused services further or fracture already small audiences across products. Copying an existing and established product usually only grants points if a guild manages to establish it as an alternative that is accepted and adopted by the community or provides significant innovation and improved user experience. This is why we recommend waiting until you have a working and established product before submitting your initial evaluation request.
