Example code is outdated #65

Hi,

as I have mentioned on glitter the current example code crashes with unresolved references. It would be nice if the code could get updated to offer an easy bare metal code to build upon.

Hey thanks for reminding me, sorry I promised fixing that on gitter and just completely forgot :(.

It should be all fixed, let me know if there are any more problems.
