Cannot launch swhkd - Githubissues

Version Information:

Distribution Information Linux LapyZapy 6.1.11_1 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Feb 13 01:39:23 UTC 2023 x86_64 GNU/Linux
swhkd version swhkd 1.3.0-dev

Describe the bug: When I run pkexec swhkd I get the error:

Error getting authority: Error initializing authority: Could not connect: No such file or directory

To Reproduce: I do not know.

Additional information: I am using void linux which uses runnit a an init system I am not sure if this would effect wether swhkd works.

Swhkd is an init independent tool. It seems like there's an issue with policy kit on your system? Do you have polkit installed?

I think so I can check when I get home (~6.30pm)

I have installed polkit-devel (prviosly I only had polkit) with xbps and still no luck.
