As Sequoia is at the corner it's time to drop Monterey support from upcoming releases. The latest version with Monterey support will be v2.3.x.
This change allows a lot of legacy code to be removed and makes possible to utilize a lot of new framework technologies that can enhance/simplify the app (these could not be used until Monterey support is dropped).
