Newer apps generally have the traffic lights moved further away from the corners.

Disabled traffic lights are a different colour to 1st party ones 😭

Traffic lights are entirely first party, just the offset was changed to a different, also predefined Apple offset. Traffic light color depends on window material, vibrancy, background etc, macOS subtly changes things so it's more pleasing to the eye. See the difference in overall window tone.
