Can't enable HiDPI unless on 2560x1440 (on 4k monitor) #3680

So I have two computers running BetterDisplay, an M2 Pro macbook pro 14" at work, and the new M4 mac mini (base config) at home. Both connect to 4k monitors. On the MBP I can use 3360x1890 hiDPI resolution enabled on BetterDisplay, but on the Mac Mini selecting HiDPI only allows 2560x1440. Is there something I don't have correctly enabled on the Mac Mini that I have on the MBP? I've compared settings and it looks like things are the same on both.

Try using USB-C/DisplayPort instead of HDMI on the M4 mini. The M4 mini is somewhat restrictive to available resolutions on some display (even though it can happily output up to 4K HiDPI with certain displays, so it's not a hardware issue actually) - with some HDMI displays it will limit the horizontal resolution to 2560px HiDPI just for the sake of it apparently (note: the M2 Max Studio did the same and wasn't ever fixed, but maybe it will be for the mini as there is a bigger outcry because of this).
