I have a 2K monitor and I follow your steps to build a 16:9 virtual monitor, but when I use this virtual monitor as a mirror of my external monitor, I find it very fuzzy, No matter how I adjust the resolution of the virtual display

Have you tried using the new native HiDPI scaling with macOS 12.4+?

hxzl-98 commented 2 years ago

My system version is 12.4. My built-in display zoomed just fine on this version

3DCoded commented 2 years ago

The HiDPI native scaling completely replaces the dummy mirroring for most cases.

How can I turn on hiDIP on the external monitor

Hidpi is in parentheses when I add 1280720 resolution image But when I added 19201080 resolution, HIDPI didn't show up image

This is my monitor information image

I solved the problem The reason is that the default resolution of my monitor is not 2560*1440, I changed it and rebooted it thanks!
