Unlock your displays on your Mac! Flexible HiDPI scaling, XDR/HDR extra brightness, virtual screens, DDC control, extra dimming, PIP/streaming, EDID override and lots more!
Hi, I would like to test some things and it seems like BetterDummy (now BetterDisplay) has added some options to the Colour Profile selection on System Settings > Displays. It seems like some resolutions have appeared there as well with the new Smooth resolution scale option (the native HiDPI modes that do not use the dummy), although I'm not completely sure about it.
I have tried disabling BetterDisplay auto-run, closing and rebooting, but no changes happened and actually the new native HiDPI resolution created by BetterDisplay was still being used. I think there should be a way to completely clean everything that BetterDisplay does so that you can test things with a fresh start.
If it's not possible to incorporate this functionality, is there any workaround for this? How can I completely delete everything that BetterDisplay did so that all system settings, resolutions etc. revert to the stock MacOS ones for my screen?
